It been a while since my last newsletter, a lot has happened and is going to happen.
First of all, Glenn Pray has been in the hospital. He went in Christmas Day and spent 1 week in ICU and then 2 weeks
in re hab. He had (he thinks, as they found nothing) a case of food poisoning. After a week in ICU, he was so weak,
he had to go to re hab to get his strength back. He is now home and doing well. He should be back to the shop in the
next few days.
We had a great car show in May with 38 Auburns and Cords, and 90 quests at the Banquet.
While Doug Pray was giving a tour of the ACD Factory, they came up to the 32 Auburn V-12
Speedster, he was telling the story about the man who bought this car 15 years ago and never picked it up. From the
back of the group, a voice said "I'M HERE". In amazement, Doug asked "Here for what?", he said "to pick up my car".
So we had allot of fun with Richard, before he picked up his car and took to California.
The Book on Glenn is to be Printed by the Publisher in the early part of Feb 2007. So we hope to have the books in
hand by the end of Feb. We are only going to have 200 Books
Printed, so if I don't have you on the list for one of the autographed and numbered books,
let me know. The price will be $60 plus $5 S & H. Glenn's cost on the books is about $300 each. So if we sell the
two hundred, we will have another 100 printed. Let me know if you want one, and then I will e-mail you when to send
the money.
I've been working on this years Auburn-Cord Car Show and we had three times to hold the show, that would be fun,
and tie us to another event. Rooster Day, Leake-Kruse Auction, and the Unearthing of the 57 Plymouth. We decided
to have it on June 8th and 9th 2007.
This will be held with the Auction in the Tulsa EXPO at the Fairgrounds. We will be able to display our Cars on
Friday in front of the main entrance at the EXPO building in the afternoon. We meet at the ACD factory on Friday
morning. Leake-Kruse will have a reception party Friday evening. I'm working a couple of different places to show
the cars on Saturday. We'll hold the Banquet on Saturday evening at the Clarion Hotel.
The Host Hotel is the Clarion Hotel (Formerly the Holiday Inn) 2600 N. Aspen, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012 The
room rate in $59 plus Tax each night. Local phone number is 918 258 7085. When calling make sure you talk to a
local person, not the 800 number. As the 800 number doesn't have the information on the rooms. The rooms are
held under Auburn-Cord Group. We have reserved 25 rooms. If they fill up, we have the Hampton inn, 2 doors
over that we can use, but the rate is higher. More information will follow in March.
Calvin Clark, of Clark's Corvair, has bought all the Cord 8/10 parts from Wellington, Kansas and has moved them
to Maine. He has 350 to 400 different items for the Cords. They are working on a Catalog and will be mailing
them out to the 8/10 Cord Owners. Samco owners, take note of this, as some of the 8/10 parts also fit the Samco.
We have located 68 Auburn Speedsters, 61 Cord 8/10's, 46 Samco's and 9 of the Auburn Dual Cowl Phaeton's. If you
know of anyone that has one of these cars and they don't know about us, please tell them about us, or send me the
information, and I'll find them.
Anyone looking for a very nice Cord 8/10?? Prototype #5 is For Sale. It is White with oxblood interior, and
black top and boot. This one is ready to show and go. If interested call me at 918 251 3500 or e-mail me at

a long time. The car is located in New York.
The ACD Club is looking into letting the Second Generation cars being judged at the Labor Day Meet. That will
be a great help in boosting our cars. I'll keep you updated on the ACD Club information.
If you have not paid your 2007 Dues, please send a check to Glenn Pray Group, 2011 S. Cedar, Broken Arrow, Okla
74012. Dues are $15 yearly, if the newsletter can be sent via e-mail. If we have to send it by US Mail dues
